Sparks
Sparks are kindergarten to second graders. A sparks meeting begins with prayer and flag salute in the kidzone (aka big room). Sparks then have game time and snack.
Next Sparks move to council time. Awards are given, songs are sung, birthdays are celebrated, and of course a Bible story is told. The story is explained in a way that children can understand and applied to their lives today. Here is a list of what your child will learn at club this year.
Lastly, sparks are broken up into grade levels for handbook time. Each group goes into a room with one or two leaders and LITS (leaders in training). This is the clubber's chance to recite the verses they learned at home. Clubbers earn awards for their vests during this time.
Parents pick up clubbers from their handbook rooms. They must be signed out by an adult, not another child. Please write on the sign in sheet if your child is going home with someone else.
